My stay at the Cherai Beach Resort was nothing short of magical, with the backwaters and beach right at my doorstep. The Fisherman's hut I stayed in was incredibly idyllic, providing a peaceful view of the lake and surrounding nature. The resort staff, especially Samuel, went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, although the rooms could use a bit of updating, especially the bathrooms. Overall, it's a fantastic place to escape into nature and experience authentic Kerala hospitality.

I spent a few nights at Cherai Beach Resort in Kerala, and it had its ups and downs. The location is fantastic, right by the beach and surrounded by beautiful backwaters. However, the service left much to be desired, and the rooms didn't feel as comfortable as I hoped for the price. The dining options were limited, and the overall value for money didn’t match my expectations.

I had a mixed experience at this resort. On the one hand, the location is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful greenery and close to Cherai beach. The pool area was a highlight as well, well-maintained and perfect for relaxing. However, the dining experience left much to be desired, as the food options were limited and not very tasty. The room, while comfortable and equipped with AC, had some noise issues that disrupted my sleep. Overall, it’s a place with fantastic surroundings, but it needs improvements in dining and room soundproofing.
